For the past 24 years, I have been dedicated to helping women look and feel their absolute best. To me, makeup is so much more than colors and products—it's an opportunity for someone to step away from their everyday routine feeling confident, beautiful, and empowered. Being able to make people feel amazing is truly a gift, and it's one I never take for granted.

My journey in the beauty industry began in my twenties with Prescriptives, where I learned the art of custom blending makeup—a skill I still use today to create personalized looks for my clients. From there, I moved to California and worked with Origins before returning home to Colorado, where I continued my career with prestigious brands including Trish McEvoy and CHANEL.

I spent 15 wonderful years with CHANEL and continue to freelance with them today. While I loved working with some of the most respected names in beauty, I always dreamed of building something of my own. Three years ago, I launched Makeup by Katie Klein, and what an incredible journey it has been. Every day, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my expertise, passion, and love of beauty with my clients.

Along the way, I also created The Essential Brush Set. After years of searching for the perfect collection of brushes and never finding one that truly had everything I needed, I decided to design my own. The result is a brush set that is incredibly soft, easy to clean, and thoughtfully designed to help anyone create beautiful makeup with confidence. They are honestly some of the best brushes I've ever used.

Every experience throughout my 24-year career has led me to this moment. My goal is not only to provide makeup services but also to be your partner in beauty. I love teaching women the techniques and tips I've learned over the years—there's no gatekeeping here. I want you to feel confident in your makeup and empowered to recreate the looks you love.
